1. Do I need to change my password on the first day?

If you are an existing employee/partner, you can log in using your existing credentials. If you have joined the organisation newly, you will receive one email from the onboarding team with instructions to set up your account. However, if you wish to reset your password, you can click on Forgot Password? and follow the next steps to reset your password and configure multi-factor authentication.

2. Do i need to prefix airtelaf or aa along with my AUUID ?

No, just use your AUUID to login to the new IAM application



1. Will there be any changes to the way I reset my password or manage my account settings?

You can reset your password by following the link for Forgot Password? on the Airtel Africa SSO Login Page.

2. How can I retrieve a password if forgotten?

You cannot retrieve your current password if forgotten. Instead, follow the Forgot Password? link from the Airtel Africa SSO Login Page. and create a new password.

4. What needs to be done if my AUUID got locked?

There is no dedicated link or task to unlock your locked AUUID, however, resetting your Password will auto unlock your AUUID in the SSO, other associated applications and their respective accounts.

If you would like to unlock your account without resetting the password, please follow either of the below steps.
• You can wait for 30 minutes to auto unlock the account.
• Reach out to IAM support for immediate account unlock.

All Airtel Africa employees (off-roll & on-roll) and partners can access the login URL

You can also go to the Android Play Store/Apple AppStore apps from your mobile device, search for "ForgeRock Authenticator," and download it.

4. Do I need to delete VIP Symantec from my phone?

Do not delete this application without receiving any formal communication from Airtel Africa.

5. What if I do not have a registered Email ID?

An error message will be displayed from where you can update the email using the dashboard or you can reach out to HR.

6. What if I do not have a partner email ID?

An error message will be displayed from where you can update the email using the dashboard or you can reach out to HR.

7. What if I am a partner and I do not have an Airtel a_xxx Airtel email ID?

As a partner, your partner corporate email ID would have been registered at the time of partner onboarding. This email will be used by the system to perform email-based second-factor authentication.

8. What if I lost my mobile device or purchased a new mobile?

You can follow the "Lost Mobile Device?" link from the login link.

9. What additional security measures will be in place to protect my account and data?

Multi-factor authentication is in place to protect your account and data. Kindly download the “ForgeRock Authenticator” from your play store and scan for enabling the Time based OTP and Push authentication.

10. Will IAM transformation affect how I access company systems remotely or from different devices?

Yes. If you are logging in from a new device (a new browser/computer/Network), the system will prompt you for multi-factor authentication. However, if you are connected to VPN, the system will allow you to access your applications without the need for MFA.

11 How will the IAM transformation impact my authorization levels and permissions?
